la capitale (L'International, Le Pop In, Le Motel, La Loge, Le
Nouveau Casino..).
Aujourd'hui, May Day est donc bel et bien un duo, Maud Naïmi
et Julien Joubert, et Somewhere to be Found, leur premier
be Found s'appelle Home. Non, ceux qui connaissent déjà May Day
Libre.
piste à l'ambiance sombre, donne le la: "We're all going somewhere
we all know, you know". Une affirmation qui laisse pourtant planer
l'inquiétante question de ladite destination.
Somewhere to be Found

Shine on
Shine onto my face
Come on
Get ready for the race
You said
That’s nothing I can taste
Well I guess I’m
Something you can’t face
So bring it on
Bring it on to me
Bring it on, baby
Bring it on to me
Hurt me
Hurt me till I bleed
I wanna feel you
Burning on my skin
So tie me up
Blindfold me
The more you hide
The more clearly I can see
Chorus
Don’t be
Don’t be so scared of me
Scratch my back, I’m
Whoever you like
So gimme fever
Gimme love or hate
But gimme something
That’s more than I can bear
Hurt me
Hurt me till I bleed
I wanna feel you
Burning on my skin
So tie me up
Blindfold me
The more you hide
The more clearly I can see
Chorus
Found myself a diguise
So it’s hard to tell
But I’m worse than you are
And you know it well
Million bottles at sea
Can you read me well ?
No use telling me
That this ship has sailed
Hold it while it lasts
One second blast
Hold it while it lasts
Always had a thing
For the insanely pretty ones
Who’d get into my pants
But kept the mistery on
How fucked up it’d get
Before it really turns me on
And how serious I am
When I tell you I’m done
Chorus
Don’t tell me I’m wrong
I couldn’t care less
About the oceans you’d cross
The love you’d confess
The mountains you’d climb
The storms you would brave
It’s likely I’m blind
But I don’t need to be saved
Chorus
Strawberries taste like the worst I ever had
And sunshine won’t make my day
My desperate tears won’t win your heart back
And I don’t want you to stay
So what d’you mean when you said
You had to see things for yourself ?
Now you got time and you got space
But it’s still hurting everyday
But I’m not your guy
I’m not your guy, I’m not your guy
So don’t you try and change your mind
Cause I don’t need another ride
I’m not your guy
Cigarette smoke gets into my eyes
And I’m drinking everyday
Someone new takes me home every night
I don’t care what they say
So how did it feel like when you said
I deserved better anyway ?
Now you got time and you got space
To play the part you have to play
Chorus
Strawberries taste like the worst I ever had
But sunshine will make my day
Think you can mess with
People’s lives
Think you can fool
Anyone for free
Think you got it
Alright, then
Think twice
Cause next time
You’ll see me
I’ll shoot you, yeah
I’ll shoot you
Dead
Think you got your back
Covered when
You should go sell
Your mother now
And go buy
Yourself a way out
Cause next time
I’ll see you around
Chorus
Summertime and blooming flowers
Revealed the scariest part of me
So there’s no point in fighting harder
You just set it free
Come and meet my love,
My love.
Love, give me strenght to
Get what I need to
Fight when I have to
Say what I mean to
I need to find what’s truly mine
Don’t make me bitter
And lose my temper
Don’t make this harder
Cause I should know better
I need to find some peace of mind
Love, give me strenght to
Stand right beside you
And leave it up to you
To break my heart in two
You know I won’t mind cause you’re all mine
You darkened the sun
You made the leaves fall off the trees
Dried out the oceans
Made it sure I couldn’t breathe
You blew a cold wind
An endless shiver down my spine
And the taste of your skin
Left me anything but fine
It’s never been easy being you
It’s never been easy being you,
You said,
But it’s not like I ever wanted to
Love you
You silenced the world
So I can feel the anger deep within
Oh it’s a raging winter
Where I’ve been
It’s never been easy being you
It’s never been easy being you,
You said,
But it’s not like I ever wanted to
Hurt you
Oh I let it snow
I let you freeze me to the bone
I let it grow
I let it blow
I let you turn me into stone
I’ll let it go, I’ll let it go
I’ll let it go, cause you know
Lightning always strikes again
I let you freeze me to the bone
I let you turn me into stone

"There are no strangers here. Only friends you haven't yet met." (William Butler Yeats)
Another lonely night in a crowded bar
Shelter for any desperate soul on the boulevard
Where everyone is the same
Until they ask for your name
You danced around me a while
With burning fire in your eyes
And just when I thought you were through
You asked if I wanted to
Oh my ! my ! did I want to
Take, take, take
Oh my ! I did want to
Take, take, take you home
But there’s no place like home
There’s no such place as home
It’s been a while now, it’s been long
Since I learned home is where your soul belongs
A dream, a chase, a crowded bar
One with no name in the backseat of a car
Chorus
Stuck outside
My greedy eyes
Staring at the horizon
All I had
Went out of sight
And you’re the only reason
Chorus
What was it you wanted
That I did not get ?
Let’s hurry and make it back
Before sunset
I’m always somewhere to be found
You lost your way but not your mind
Winter’s gone now, we’ll be fine
Bosses, bills and laundry
Will have to wait
That everyday scenery
Turned us into bait
Hunters chasing us around
Tiny tigers, silly clowns
I’m always somewhere to be found
So give me a smile
Lullaby
Hunters chasing us around
You lost your way but not your mind
I’m always somewhere to be found
I’m always somewhere to be found
So give me a smile
Lullaby
Always somewhere to be found
Meet me in the evening
But don’t expect any feelings
Cause I ain’t got none
Speak after the tone
Lost love
Staring at the ceiling
Maybe it’s been hiding
On the kitchen floor
Hungry for more ?
Hold her closer
That rollercoaster won’t break your lover
I’m walking on a wire
While you’re reading your Bible
You, perfect sinner
Found another ?
Pray
For me to guide you
Before the other guys
Realize
You got (pretty, pretty)
Lucky this time
What’s on your mind ?
Hold her closer
That rollercoaster won’t break your lover
Oh babe, come on over
Kiss my lips as I unzip your leather
Your girlfriend’s not dancing
And not getting any younger
Before the night is over
Let’s skip a beat and just give in to the fever
Lovers on the run
Always did it better
Let’s just lie on each other
Oh no ! Let’s just lie on each other
Let’s just lie to the others
Let’s just lie on each other
Hold her closer
That rollercoaster won’t break your lover
Here’s to the good times
Here’s to the little things
And the shadows they cast
To the mountain that can’t be climbed
Here’s to the end of the path
Oh there’s no right or wrong
Just acting strong
And fading fast
There’s no present or past
Just the sound of our steps
On broken glass
Oh cry me not
For I ain’t lost
At least, you counted first
Before last
At last..
.. Here’s to acceptance
To the drunk ones
Crying their hearts out
To the last dance
To the sound of our steps
On broken glass
Here’s to the last dance
To the sound of my steps
On broken glass
She turned out all the lights
As she walked on
With sunbeams in her hands
She danced alone
Didn’t even look back
Hid the sun in her backpack.. Gone !
She left without a care
With a smile on
With flowers in her hair
My baby’s gone
Painted the skies black
Never coming back.. Gone !
My baby’s gone
She packed her bags
Wearing nothing under
That overcoat
Back to waiting tables
Before I could turn them on her
Now, people talk
My baby’s gone
Didn’t even look back
Never coming back.. Gone !
My baby’s gone
Stole you from another story
And I deserve no glory
For that
Drew you into my diary
For many years now
You know that
I ain’t no white knight
See, I have been defeated
Scared away many times before
And I betrayed and cheated
Maybe more than I was
Cheated on
I ain’t no white knight
But there’s no battle or fight
I wouldn’t fight for you
But there’s no battle or fight
I wouldn’t win for you
Still got this quiet little spark
That no one can know about
And in the depths of your darkest hours
It’s been keeping you alive
So now you wanna build a fire
Back from the ashes of our past disasters
You know it’s been a while
You kept me waiting waiting waiting
But wait !
1:15
I’m sipping champagne in the back of a limousine
I guess you know just how it’s been
From the covers of your magazines
Could love come in cash to you ?
Cause no one warned me about
Your shameless tries
And your luring ‘I need you’s
Always come with a price
It all comes with a price
So now you wanna build a fire
Back from the ashes of my past desire
You know it’s been a while
You kept me waiting waiting waiting
But wait !
1:15
I’m sipping champagne in the back of a limousine
I guess you know just how I’ve been
From the covers of your magazines
And how great we could have been
I’m walking on water
I’ll step through the fire
Now cut me some slack
Before I crack open
The seas and the skies
This isn’t how
It will all
Calm down
I love that you hate me
I love that you hate me now
Joke was on me
But who’s laughing now ?
Don’t call my name
You’re the ink, I’m the pen
I’m the aching in pain
This isn’t how
It will all
Calm down
My baby’s eyes are blue
No more ‘I love you’s
My baby’s out – out of the blue
No more ‘I love you’s
This isn’t how
It will all
Calm down
Police sirens
They’re on their way
No, this is just a game we play
Our ruby red getaway
Ruby red
Ruby..
Maybe I’m out of my mind
Maybe I’m out of my mind
She said to me
You can leave
Cause you’ll be back
You can go
Cause you’ll always be mine
Maybe I’m out of my mind
Or just too scared to draw the line
So easily
Motion sickness grew on me
All tied up and on my knee
Is making me feel colorblind
Maybe I’m out of my mind
Too much pain and too much wine
But I’m lost at sea
And a tidal wave’s coming over me
I think of all I wished to be
But I’m running out of time
Out of time..
Birth, school
Sex, love and wedding dresses
Work, kids
Pets, cash and birthday parties
Stocks, joy, lies,
Prom nights and family dinners
Cries, shame, flowers,
Lawyers and summer holidays
And start again
An endless game
Fall, rise
Dance, try
Learn how
White fences
Win, art
Shock, sharks
Truth, fight
Head of state
We're all going somewhere we all know
You know
And while the world waits
Waits and stares
While the world waits
Where will you stand?
Concrete steps on
Solid grounds
Or quicksands straight to
The underground
Marching armies like
Marching bands
All fighting for
The promised land
And start again
An endless game
We're all going somewhere we all know
You know
Drugs
Soft Porn
Hard Ware
Pope Corn
Trash Crash
Test Crack
Whore Hell
